2. Data we process
Depending on how you use our website, the Slide app, Slide devices and connected smart-home services, we may process information such as your name, email address, phone number, account and authentication information, linked Slide devices, device names, zones or rooms, connectivity status, firmware information, curtain position, command and error status, technical log information and information you submit through our contact form.
3. Purposes of processing
We process personal and device data to provide our website and services, manage accounts and devices, enable remote operation of Slide, provide smart-home integrations, deliver firmware and technical support, respond to contact requests, maintain security and reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Google Home and other connected services
When you link Slide to Google Home or another supported service, we process and share the information required for that connection to work. This may include the device ID, device name, device type, online or offline status and curtain position. Commands received through the connected service are processed in order to operate your linked Slide device. We use this information only to provide, secure and technically support the requested integration and not to build advertising profiles.
5. Contact form and email
When you use our contact form, we process your name, email address, optional phone number and message so that we can respond to your enquiry. The form sends the message through our email infrastructure and does not store submissions in a separate website database.
6. Service providers and third parties
We may use service providers for hosting, email, infrastructure, app distribution and smart-home functionality. They may process information only as necessary to provide those services. We may also disclose information where required by law.
